Tennis

Oakbourne Country Club's tennis facility features 11 lighted Rubico tennis courts and 2 lighted hard surface courts.  There is a well-stocked pro shop and a comfortable deck with a view of the tennis courts that includes a scenic overlook of the Vermillion River. 

Paul Griffith has been the director of Tennis at Oakbourne Country Club for the past 20 years.  He is a former player at the University of Louisiana and has been named the Louisiana Tennis Association Professional of the Year.  Paul teaches all levels of tennis from juniors through adults.  During his career, Paul has coached and traveled with thousands of Louisiana juniors.  His program has produced junior champions on the high school, college, southern, and state levels.
